Interview with Marie Robertson for the Queer Liberation Theory Project

Description

Marie Robertson is a therapist, community developer, and senior LGBT activist. Robertson critiques the desire for marriage equality with the desire to assimilate, and instead encourages young people to recognize the gains achieved by previous generations. Senior issues are a major concern, such as long-term care facilities, and developing services for the community, such as through the Ottawa Senior Pride Network and Seniors Helping Seniors. Interview conducted on 22 October 2011 by A.J. Lowik.
