Jane Farrow is a queer activist, community developer, storyteller, journalist, filmmaker, and was one of the first out CBC broadcasters. She has been a participant at demonstrations and protests, and an out queer in primarily straight places. Farrow speaks animatedly about the founding of Jane's Walk, and the importance of storytelling in queer history. Farrow declined the title of Honoured Dyke at Pride Toronto 2010 in the interest of free speech and Pride as a space for politics (and parties).
