Description

Jearld Moldenhauer is an activist and artist who participated in the August 1971 march We Demand at Ottawa's Parliament Hill, danced in straight bars, and staged kiss-ins and zaps. Moldenhauer formed Toronto Gay Action, proposed and created The Body Politic, and founded the Glad Day Book Shop. Moldenhauer discusses the censorship of gay materials, and the seizure of property by the police. Interview conducted on 30 August 2011 by Dr. Nick Mulé.
