Christmas Eve

The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto started the Christmas Eve worship services at Roy Thomson Hall on December 24, 1990 and continued until 2019. It was the largest Christmas Eve worship service in Canada. From 1995 to 2000, MCC Toronto was the recipient of the Community Award by Pink Toronto Awards for “Outstanding Gay/Lesbian Concert Event” for their Christmas Eve services.

Christmas Eve Worship

Throughout the years, MCC Toronto’s Christmas Eve worship services had themes of coming home and belonging which emphasizes their slogan, “My House Shall Be A House of Prayer For All People”. In 2020 and 2021, Christmas Eve worship services were streamed online on their Youtube channel. In 2022, the worship services resumed in person at 115 Simpson Avenue.
