Cece looks off to her right while sitting on a grey-felt covered couch. The same high cheekbones that she used to hate because they were too angular, too proud, too masculine, are now striking and elegant on her HRT-softened face.

Long, brown hair flows over her left shoulder and spills over her small, perky bosoms. Her gaze is soft while looking back at four decades of trying to fill the role of first-born male heir to the family name.

Her red lips are gently parted as if to say, you did the best you could in a place not meant for you. We don’t have to do that anymore. We found a home in our own body.
