Title

Interview with Ed Jackson for the Queer Liberation Theory Project

Description

Ed Jackson was a member of The Body Politic collective and one of the founders of the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT). For Jackson, the Queer Liberation Movement wasn't solely about equality, but also about how people define gender roles and their roles in society, through critiques of power and privilege, and the importance of power and class. Inspired by the Black Civil Rights Movement, and feminism, they sought to change the world. Interview conducted on 30 June 2013 by Dr. Nick Mulé.
