Description

Gerald Hannon describes himself as a semi-retired activist and was deeply involved in the Gay Liberation Movement in the 1970s and 1980s. Hannon has been involved in the Queer Liberation Movement as a journalist, photographer, and through street-level activism. He authored the controversial article "Men Loving Boys Loving Men" for The Body Politic in 1977; Hannon discusses the controversy, subsequent raid on the magazine's offices, and the charges laid against him. Interview conducted on 8 May 2013 by Dr. Nick Mulé.
