Bear Bergman is a writer, storyteller, activist, performer, gender-jammer, and self-describes as an over-educated contrarian involved with LGBTQ. Bergman has been in activism since 1990, from the age of 16, and was the founder of one of the first Gay-Straight Alliances, at Concord Academy, and was also active with Queer Nation, ACT UP, doing radical activism. Interview conducted on 27 March 2012 by A.J. Lowik.
