Title A name given to the resource Whitehorse Zine Subject The topic of the resource Community Ties Description An account of the resource As part of Community Ties: Our Future Together, we hosted a community conversation that brought together 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, activists, artists, and organizers to share insights into local histories, current initiatives, and the unique challenges and celebrations shaping queer and trans life in Whitehorse. We also facilitated a zine-making workshop, where participants created pages reflecting the character, creativity, and resilience of their communities. These contributions are included in the Whitehorse zine you see here as an expression of memory, identity, and connection that adds to the growing national conversation about what 2SLGBTQIA+ communities need and envision for the future. / Dans le cadre de Liens communautaires : Notre avenir ensemble, nous avons tenu une conversation communautaire qui a réuni des membres de la communauté 2SLGBTQIA+, des activistes, des artistes, et des organisateurs·ices afin qu’iels partagent leurs perspectives sur les histoires, initiatives, défis, et célébrations qui faconner la vie queer et trans à Whitehorse. Nous avons aussi facilité un atelier de création de zines au cours duquel les participants·es ont confectionné des pages qui reflètent le caractère, la créativité, et la résilience de leurs communautés. Ces contributions, ici réunies dans le zine de Whitehorse, sont une expression de la mémoire, de l'identité et des connexions locales qui contribuent à l'expansion de la conversation nationale sur les besoins et le futur des communautés 2SLGBTQIA+.
