Tom Warner is an activist, educator, agitator, historian, author, teacher, and mentor. Warner sees Queer Liberation as challenging and changing attitudes about sexuality and gender and acknowledges that it is informed by the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and feminism. He notes that dissent can seem threatening as it is critical of and poses a challenge to the norm. Interview conducted on 14 August 2011 by Dr. Nick Mulé.
